Entry Requirements:
JobTrain Orientation and WONDERLIC assessment. Academic skills training may be available for students who test below required levels.

Skill to be attained:
The course examines the fundamentals of the Personal Computer and the role of information processing in the business world. How to use basic hardware and software will be the main topic of the course. An understanding of the Windows Operating System XP (system software) and use of Microsoft Office Suite (application software) Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Learn how an operating system is installed, navigate in it, collect information and create files, folders, and much more. Learn to create and use e-mail and to do research on the Internet.

Certification Track:
Prerequisite to vocational training programs. JobTrain Certification of completion for Computer Literacy. Test-out option available.

Accreditation:
Fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC).
