Youth Services
JobTrain offers a variety of programs and services to our community’s youth, each of which helps them focus on educational success, employment readiness, job skills, life skills, and practical goal setting. Students between the ages of 14 and 21 are eligible to receive vocational training, tutoring in basic skills, GED preparation, and job placement assistance.
Young people come to JobTrain after school to take classes in culinary arts, digital multimedia, fine arts and more. Youth who are out of school come for help ranging from vocational training to receiving personalized GED exam assistance to finding shelter. Whatever you need, JobTrain and its partners are here to help.

- Youth Internships
JobTrain works with a variety of employers and partners, including Jobs for Youth and One East Palo Alto, to provide internship opportunities for youth. These internships offer a variety of benefits for Out-of-School Youth in training as well as SASSY students working towards their high school diplomas. Life skills support, counseling services, supportive services and job development are available for qualified youth.
